2012 Brisbane Junior Metropolitan Championships
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February 2012, the following swimmers represented Holland Park Swimming Club at the 2012 Brisbane Junior Metropolitan Championships.

All swimmers swam well with many PB's being achieved.
Congratulations to Kelsey Willmington who won a Gold Medal in the 100M Breaststroke and a Silver Medal in the 200M Breaststroke AND Nicholas Elsey who won Bronze medals in both the 50M and 100M Breaststroke.

2012 McDonald's Queensland Sprint Championships
On Saturday 4 February and Sunday 5 February 2012, the following swimmers qualified, and therefore represented, Holland Park Swimming Club at the 2012 McDonald's Queensland Sprint Championships.

Congratulations to Kelsey Willmington who achieved a Bronze Medal in the 11 Year Old Girls 50M Breaststroke final.
2012 Lawnton Start-up Meet
On Sunday 5 February 2012, the following swimmers represented Holland Park Swimming Club at the 2012 Lawnton Start-up Meet.

All swimmers swam well with several Personal Best times achieved. In addition, these swimmers may have earned, depending on their individual event placings, valuable Premiership Divisional Points which help the club retain / increase its' Brisbane Divisional ranking (currently a very respectable 3rd Division ranking).
Well done to you all on your efforts and particularly for the fine sportmanship and support qualities you all displayed on the day.
2011 Pine Rivers Spring Meet
CONGRATULATIONS to the following Holland Park competitive swimmers who attended the Pine Rivers Community Aquatics Club 2011 Spring Meet held at the Redcliffe Aquatic Centre on 30 October. The Club had 8 Swimmers attend this event and they represented Holland Park Swim Club most admirably!
Most importantly, all 8 competitors achieved personal best times in at least one event they competed in.
In addition, a Pool Record was achieved AND our club proudly walked away with 6 Medals for the event. Details of our swimmers performances are detailed below . . .

Swimming Australia Junior Excellence "JX" Swimmer Awards 2010 ~ 2011
CONGRATULATIONS to the following Holland Park competitive swimmers who won JX awards recently. The JX program recognises, rewards and encourages children aged from 9 to 13 years who accomplish times set by Swimming Australia, which are achieved at certain State Association Qualifying Meets. There are five levels of achievement . . . GoldStar, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Green. To learn more about the JX Program, click on the "Platypus Lagoon" link on the side menu.
